TR Register Ireland Win at Terenure Show…

Sunday July 7th saw the biggest classic vehicle show in Ireland held at Terenure College Dublin with more than 1600 classics on show bathed in brilliant sunshine.

This annual show is a charity event organised by our friends in the Irish Jaguar and Daimler Club.
TR Register Ireland had our usual well attended stand featuring the full range of TR models including the only two TR8s in Ireland with a lot of attention given to No.4 of the 18 rhd factory produced TR8s.
Chris Copeland is Mr.TR6 here in Ireland, even as a youngster he loved TR6s  and now he restores them to concours condition, Chris was a founding member of our club back in early 1973.
Earlier in the week Chris had just completed a body off the chassis 2 year restoration of the well known TR6  UTI-293 and brought her along to our club stand at the show. UTI-293 was purchased on 18/10/73 & has been in our club with her 3 previous owners since new.
When the IJDC judges visited our stand they selected UTI-293 as the winner of best post 1970 cabriolet car at their show.
Our TRR Ireland club members at home and across the world all say well done Chris and please keep restoring TRs to your usual impeccable standards.
Our thanks go to everybody who helped with our club’s stand at Terenure and especially those owners who came from all 4 provinces with their TRs.
